PROJECT BRIEF

Enhance the coach-side dashboard by increasing user engagement and improving the overall user experience. This is essential, as many users have discontinued using the dashboard due to confusion. As an intern product designer, the team wants me to help with conducting user interviews, identifying key pain points, and establishing clear product goals and design intentions.

WHY?

We began this project by conducting an interview with a professional coach - Coach Britt. During the interview, we gained insights into how the user currently utilizes the product and the challenges she has encountered.

PAIN POINTS

Empower users with the option to customize their data by selecting specific protocol metrics and time frames

Improve visual impact by experimenting with new designs, enhancing storytelling, and engaging users more effectively

Offer coaches a versatile interface that allows them to create workouts and select the specific data they want to import into the insight tool

Users have the option to switch between gallery view and list view. Additionally, they can bookmark athletes and access the team list.

Within the athlete's details, users have the ability to edit the most recent workout and access a comprehensive analysis of the athlete's performance across various workouts.

NEXT STEP

Our next milestone involves developing this design iteration for a December 2023 launch.
Following the dashboard's deployment, we will closely monitor back-end data and collect user feedback to enhance the current feature.
As for the company's current status, the product owners are currently navigating another round of funding, resulting in budget constraints. Post-funding, our team aims to proceed with the development of the remaining features presented in the initial wireframes.
